This lion is in front of the Chicago Art Institute. Look closely at the picture. He is wearing a Chicago Cubs cap. He is celebrating because the Chicago Cubs baseball team won the World Series baseball championship this year.

The Chicago Cubs played against the Cleveland Indians. The two teams played seven games. Their last game on Wednesday night, November 2, was exciting. Usually a game is over in seven innings, but this last game went for ten innings.

The score was 8-7. The Cubs won. The last time the Cubs won the World Series was in 1908. The Cubs fans are very happy, and so is the lion in the photo.

There’s a small mistake in this article — the length of a normal game is 9 innings, not 7. So thankfully this game only went 1 extra inning!
